The boys at BioAg asked me to pass on my experiences with their product “RumiMate”. I have been using the product for 9 months on my performance and breaker horses and I noticed changes with them within the first 3-4 weeks.  Earle Grant The changes that I have witnessed with RumiMate are: - A content appearance with the horses.
- A mental and physical balance; which I believe comes from the increased minerals the horses are utilising from their diet plus the natural minerals in RumiMate; including the selenium (NZ soils are very deficient), magnesium and other essential nutrients.
- Young horses appear more relaxed in stressful situations.
- There is a reduced need for electrolytes as the product appears to be supplying what the horse needs.
- The hard feed appears more processed in the manure; I believe the feed efficiencies have increased. The digestion of whole grains is complete.
- Sleeker coats and better weight management. I actually had an issue with getting some of my polo ponies to lose weight this season; they were doing very well on a limited ration.
- Wounds appear to be cleaner and heal much faster in my opinion.
- Manure breaks down faster and more completely.
- Flies are not attracted to the manure and are no longer the pest they were around the stables and yards.
I have a wide range of horses, some of which are unaccustomed to hard feed or oral drenches. However I found within a very short time the horses would see me coming and actually open their mouths to administer the BioAg. I prefer to administer the product orally to ensure they receive the correct dosage.
This is all my own anecdotal evidence of course, but I certainly will be continuing with the use of the RumiMate for all my animals
